Clutch Lever Comparison

An easy-pull clutch master cylinder is a popular solution for many riders: stunt riders, motocross riders, street riders and moto gymkhana riders. Active riding involves active clutch work, and training involves constant clutch work. An easier pull not only reduces the load on your hand but also lets you pull the clutch with one finger so you can hold the handlebar more firmly with the others, which is important in training. In principle all these units are the same: they shorten the lever arm. But in different riding conditions their particular features matter.

Moose easy-pull system

Easy Pull Clutch  RUB 5,900 RUB 3,900 is the best option for street riders. The system is inexpensive and can be fitted at the top after the lever unit or at the bottom after the actuator. With this system the factory lever unit with its clutch switch is kept. It makes the pull easy enough that you can use the lever with either two fingers or one.

Moose EZ3 clutch lever

EZ3 Clutch  RUB 5,500 was designed for motocross. Inexpensive, light, with a floating cable entry angle and a simple mechanism that is easy to service when dirt gets in. It can be used on any motorcycle, but for a stunt bike the lever is a bit long, since it's made for two fingers; in that case you can cut it down or move the unit if the clip-on/handlebar tube allows.

RSC clutch lever

The RSC lever unit is made of machined aluminum for stunt bikes; it is strong and expensive. It has an ergonomic one-finger lever. The unit suits stunt bikes and gymkhana.

Stuntex clutch lever

Машинка Сцепления Stuntex  RUB 0 is an analogue of the RSC, but its pivot mechanism runs on two large bearings, so the pull effort is slightly lower. The Stuntex unit also has a more compact body, which makes it easier to set up a duplicator. The bolt head and nut are recessed into the body for compactness. The Stuntex unit can be used with the left switch block. It is great for stunt bikes and street motorcycles with a two-finger lever.

Adjustable clutch lever

A Russian-made adjustable lever unit is a universal solution. It lets you adjust the cable entry angle, the lever distance to the grip and the pull effort. Its drawback is complicated installation. For stunt bikes the adjustments are useless, since everyone rides with the minimum effort, and the cable on sport bikes has a guide. This unit suits those who need a non-standard individual setup.
