Legend Suspension on a Harley-Davidson

Harley-Davidson motorcycles are the most popular in the world and are used in various modes and conditions, including motorsport. The stock setup of the whole Harley range is not suitable for extreme riding. One of the main drawbacks is ineffective suspension, without independent characteristics or adjustments and with low energy absorption.

A student of Alexander Andreev came to us to have suspension installed on a 2013 Dyna Fat Bob to learn extreme riding skills. We chose a Legend kit with 14-inch adjustable REVO-A shocks and AXEO fork cartridges with sealed, pressurized twin-chamber dampers. Legend specializes in Harley-Davidson motorcycles, so there are various shock configurations of different lengths, which is convenient.

As a result, the motorcycle became significantly taller, which allows deeper lean in corners and easy riding over obstacles. Under hard braking and acceleration the bike doesn't pitch, keeping the wheels firmly on the road surface. Sharp impacts on bumps and jumps don't bottom out the suspension or cause a temporary loss of control.
