Fire Angels Show (Stuntmen Show)
The stuntmen show took place at the Setunsky Stan youth center in Moscow. According to the organizers, the performers were the best stuntmen in the country, regularly appearing in Russian films, and among them was a Guinness World Records holder. They promised to show world-class tricks! Alexander Andreev invited us to the event to see movie stunts and his performance with the youngest stunt rider in the country. Of course we can't judge the real level of the show, since we were seeing such stunts for the first time. Looking ahead, I'll say that we liked it, and a couple of stunts were really impressive. The pretty host, who kept changing outfits, was also memorable. We filmed all the performances, but included only the coolest moments in the video.
It was interesting to watch acrobatics on cars driving on two wheels. A fun scene from old American action movies came out. The human torch looked very cool, as did the ghost rider: fire is always spectacular. Of course, the jump through a fire tunnel was very impressive, especially since the stuntman was naked and had no safety gear. Jumps from a tower onto an airbag are a high-level stunt that should be watched as close as possible for maximum effect. The final stunt, when a car jumped off a ramp and flipped over, looks much cooler on video than in real life. But the stunt riding wasn't very spectacular. Alexander Andreev wasn't given enough time, plus there was a fire show before his performance, and the whole asphalt was soaked with kerosene. Stoppies had to be canceled, and the motorcycle could hardly lift into a wheelie because the wheel was spinning. In short, the organizers didn't think it through. I can say that Alexander's warm-up and his tricks behind the stands were much cooler than the performance itself. The local riders didn't impress at all. Only a guy on a CBR did a couple of very dangerous stoppies and drifts.
Watch our video and judge for yourself how cool the tricks of Russian stuntmen look.
