Legend Revo-A Mono Shock Absorber
Replacing shock absorbers is one of the most popular modifications of stock Harley-Davidson motorcycles, along with engine Stage 1 upgrade.
The leading manufacturer of suspensions for Harley-Davidson is the American manufacturer Legend. Their products are designed specifically for certain models, without compromise, so as to obtain the maximum possible energy capacity and performance.
The basic and most important parameters of the shock absorber are the stroke and diameter, which determine the energy capacity and range of comfortable operation. This is what is immediately felt while riding and what all riders need.
Legend designs their shock absorbers specifically for these purposes. With the same length, their products will have a greater stroke and diameter than their counterparts. All other technologies (seal, rod and damper coatings, valve in the piston, linear bearing, spring, supports, fasteners) are also top-notch.
We already installed Revo A Air 
RUB 301,300 on our Low Rider S, which worked great, was comfortable and stable, and very pleasing to ride.
In addition to the price, this air shock absorber has a drawback: the compressor is located at the bottom, behind the engine. In terms of mass centralization, the location is excellent, but in terms of maintenance and reliability, not so much.
The compressor has an air filter, which is close to the road, which means it quickly gets clogged and requires cleaning. Theoretically, if you do not clean it, dust can get into the system and clog the check valve.
A shock absorber with a steel spring is the most reliable option. Legend produces the Revo-A Mono model with a unique spring, which is custom-made.
The damper of this shock absorber is the same as that of the air one: a monotube with rebound speed adjustment. But unlike the air one, there are no difficulties with installation: you do not need to lay the remote control wire in the handlebar and you do not need to mount or connect the compressor.
Legend produces the Revo-A Mono shock absorber in three lengths: 12.5 / 13 / 13.5 inches.
We recommend installing 13 inches on all Softails if you want maximum comfort.
The 13.5-inch shock requires a fork extension to maintain the bike's standard weight distribution and geometry. It's a high-performance shock that increases ground clearance and shortens the base for better handling.
